Preservation Causes

The following our causes we believe as members of the 30th are important to the preservation of history so that future generations may still have the opportunity to view and learn from the past.

Please consider supporting these worthwhile causes.

Larry Walker, fellow reenactor, is behind this initiative and has asked we each consider lending our support to this cause.

The Robert E. Lee Confederate Heritage Association of Matthews in partnership with the Battle of Nashville Preservation Society are working together to erect a Confederate monument on the Nashville, Tenn. Battlefield.  The Nashville Preservation Society is donating the land for the site.  The goal is to raise the funds in time to erect the monument by the fall of 2008.  The United Daughters of the Confederacy are also expected to help, as well as our hope that some of the reenacting community will help as well.  For more information  Battle of Nashville Monument.
